These samples are from a workshop led by Sarah Thornington in which we were encouraged to use old books and any medium of our choice to deconstruct and create something new. My book, Handbook of Knots and Splices (Charles E. Gibson) led me down a path of weaving together childhood memories into my current passions of exploring, preserving and protecting our natural environment.
